2.1 Charging
Charging the accumulators is possible only with the use of the enclosed charger. This charger is designed not only for charging little NiMH accumulators, which are placed inside the charger in the same way as in the handle of the laser speedometer, but also for charging the big Pb accumulators, which are charged with the help of the reducing cable with connector, that is placed right next to the connector for pluging the charger.

Accumulator charger

Process of charging the NiMH accumulator without previous discharge, and of the leaden accumulator:
1. Turn on power supplying of the charger (230V or 12V)
After turning it on, the red LED (light-emitting diode) lights up.
2. Insert NiMH accumulator of 12V into the charger. After inserting the accumulator into the charger, the process of charging starts automatically. This state is indicated by the lighting up of the green LED. Typical charging time of the accumulator is 4 hours.
3. After finishing the charging, green LED will start to glimpse. This indicates that the charging process comes to its end.
4. Remove the accumulator.
5. Turn off supplying of the charger (230V nebo 12V) or continue in charging another accumulator.

Process of charging the NiMH accumulator with previous discharge:
1. Turn on supplying of the charger (230V or 12V)
After turning it on, the red LED (light-emitting diode) lights up.
2. Insert NiMH accumulator of 12V into the charger. After inserting the accumulator into the charger, the process of charging starts automatically. This state is indicated by the lighting up of the green LED.
3. Push the button for discharging. After 1-2 seconds, the discharging process is in progress. This state is indicated by glimpsing green LED. Typical discharging time of the accumulator is 2 hours. After finishing the discharging cycle, the process of charging starts automatically.
Typical charging time of the accumulator is 4 hours.
4. After finishing the charging process, the green LED will start to glimpse, which indicates the end of the charging process.
5. Remove the accumulator.
6. Turn off supplying of the charger (230V nebo 12V) or continue in charging another accumulator.
